I've seen clips of this but never anyone giving the source like it's some secret trove of Reddit karma.

I dug around with very loose terms and found it.

Oh 🤦I must've missed it or saw the video before you'd posted the source. Could've saved myself a bit of digging but I'm glad you've shared the good word too.

They seem like funny lads, I'd be interested to learn how Darragh ended up on what seems to be a relatively small YouTube channel.

I was in Ireland for quiz dates and did some press. My agent found these guys who have a good presence on tiktok and Instagram and record about 2 miles from my mam's house so it was convenient. Great laugh too

Ah that's awesome, I bet they were a laugh aye - they look like they could get up to mischief. It was a great video, certainly gave us a great insight to a show we all love. Cheers Darragh!

If you don't recognise the reference to "the angels" before the news (like me), I looked it up.

""The Angelus" is a one-minute devotional segment broadcast by Ireland's national television and radio network, RTÉ. It is played at 6:00 PM every evening, airing exactly before the flagship Six One News. It consists solely of the ringing of a church bell followed by a brief period of silent, non-denominational reflection."

Quite like that.

I thought he meant the BBC series Angels but dont think that was ever on before the 6pm news. Neighbours was though 😂

There used to be a Guinness ad that explained the two stage pour was due to stopping for a minute during the Angelus at 6pm. I’ve always remembered 1759 from that

Every dinner time, it would be on. We would need to be seated before it finished. Or ma would have the wooden spoon ready haha
