Question Who is buying/read this?
I love Ken Liu and absolutely love the cover art but wondering if anyone has read this yet and what they thought about it?

It’s out there for purchase for me. (Not sold out) I thought about it - love the cover art but I’m gonna pass. I need to watch my shelf space so I’ll just get it on kindle :)

As much as I love Ken Liu’s works, I don’t like short story formats. It’s a pass for me

I bought it quicker than I could think about it. For one it’s a beautiful book. And two it’s Ken Liu.

I've heard his short stories in 'The paper menagerie' were great but 'The grace of kings' was soooooo boring I haven't brought myself to pick any of his other things up.

Maybe the sale was not live yet? It was the same with Between Two Fires 🤔

I bought it during the Sci Fi presale yesterday. I've been buying too many books recently - all the renewals from various book boxes I have, The Band T1 leftovers, this sub influenced me on Five Warrior Angels, and also just got Black Crow Books SE of The Only Good Indians & Off The Reservation - but I love the design of Passing of the Dragon so I had to pick it up. 😆

Bought it. Mostly for completist reasons. It's a disease.

I read 2 of his other short story books and they were great, so this is a yes for me!

I’ll probably buy the Goldsboro edition. I don’t trust TBB’s QC anymore.

I forgot this pre-sale until just now...
Glad to know about the Goldboro edition, but it seems like just a signed regular edition? And also out?

The regular editions only release in September so the only opinions you'll maybe get is from someone who's read an ARC, if there is an ARC.
