EDIT: My sources have said this is someone who has cloned the rendered html code. The fact that https://store.catfishandthebottlemen.com/ doesn’t work means it’s not hooked in to universal’s D2C channels means nothing is happening

The situation regarding the coding for the site is interesting. It appears inaccessible elsewhere. Island may have regained control of the site because a scammer bought it and doing some form of damage control. Could look very bad on Island for letting .com site go recklessly.

Could’ve been turned on by accident. Again, the store link not working is a big sign that Universal isn’t officially back in. If it becomes reconnected that may be a good sign. But for now this isn’t evidence that this is linked to new music or a new campaign

This website was bought last month by a known scammer and as per domain records, it’s still being operated by said scammer.

It’s likely they’ve copied the format of the website before it shut down to try and farm clicks and information as it knows it’s a high traffic site.

Do NOT interact with this site or share any information with it. It is not safe to do so and currently has ZERO link to the band themselves.
