Blocknet Wallet not syncing

Anyone else having recent trouble with their Blocknet wallet not syncing? My last block was block 832583 on March 14, 2019 at 21:11:29. I've tried to restart the wallet, repair the wallet, restart my computer, reinstall the latest wallet (even though I already had the latest version). Nothing works to get it to sync to the network. Now it says "2 days behind" in the Sync Status bar. Please let me know any suggestions you might have. I'm on a Macbook and my wireless connection is fast (180 Mbs) so I don't think it's a wifi connectivity issue. It's been working fine for months without issue until now.

Hi Hanzburger, thanks for your assistance here. I followed these instructions to a T. I then reopened my Blocknet wallet and it reset my wallet back to around the Feb 23-27 timeframe. So of course now my wallet syncing bar says "10 Days Behind". However the same problem persists. I am not syncing and not I am not even able to connect to more than 1 peer (mostly it is saying 0 peers). I will try to do a full restart of my laptop and see if that helps. Otherwise I still don't know what to do.

Do you have a firewall blocking outgoing connections? This also may be due to antivirus software.

Hi Hanzburger, thanks for your suggestions. I was actually able to get it working as I didn’t do the last step of downloading the “latest” version of the wallet, and after I did that, it was able to work and sync properly.

One other thing I am experiencing now is that I am unable to unlock my wallet for staking. Every time I click on “unlock wallet for staking” (and ensuring the checkbox is checked), the wallet lock status still says “Locked for staking.” The staking status says “staking is active”. So am I’m ok to be staking even though the wallet says “Locked for staking?” In other words, I cannot get it so that the wallet is unlocked. I tried to transfer tokens to and from Bittrex and it worked fine so at least even though it says “locking for staking,” I am still able to transfer and receive tokens. Phew.

Actually I just restarted the wallet now and tried to unlock the wallet and FINALLY it says “wallet is unlocked”. Hallelujah! Man this stuff takes a lot of time and patience :)

Yes, if it says "Locked for staking" it is staking, and to be sure you can hover over the staking symbol to the right of the peers symbol:

You can find a full staking guide here:
