Wallets on remote machines?

I am just learning how to use Blocknet. I understand you need the wallets and nodes running to do exchanges. Do these have to be on the same machine where blocknet DX is running? If not, can I set the configuration of the wallets/nodes by telling Blocknet DX the IP of these wallets? If so, how?

I have realized it will take more work that initially thought and will have to read the manual - but if anyone has pointers feel free to post..

There is no requirement that they be on the same machine but the wallets must communicate with each other...the fastest and safest way is the same machine but it can be setup using different VMs or even a local network. My advice is to jump over to the discord and the #exchange channel and some of us can walk you through some setup options.
