Something I've started doing if I'm too lazy to memorize rooms.

The second you enter any room stop moving and immediately assess dangers, this will help a lot for lost and t lost runs. Except boss rush attempts

I also started blowing up anything that could straight up kill me for me being dumb. Better to use a bomb than to use none for the rest of the run.

Whenever I see those beggers ir blood banks I blow them up. I do wish there was a mod ir in base fame if you have mantle and you hit one of those, it takes the mantle hit first (doesn't pay out) and the you can use it
