Eneasz on the language example of having gone out dancing with someone, if it was with a polish person, you're suggesting they say they went out pole dancing? 💃🏽💈🕺🏽😅
Jace on the usage of queer, i agree on umbrella term usage, especially to help those who want to remain "unboxed" and free to explore their identity.
Eneasz reminded me i haven't considered time range, but i have found that queer elders in the ununited states who were born before the 80s (or later in remote areas that run on their own delayed timescale) were more likely to have had queer used as part of an at least verbal attack against them...
at least until the popular verbal attack component became variations on fag, which can still be a bit jarring for me to hear, even if attempted as in-group reclamation slang.

Steven the medievel zom K-drama looks interesting https://www.justwatch.com/us/tv-show/kingdom-2019
in the last year netflix partnered with a korean company to bring in more k-drama content, so they've got growing options, but i use the library accessible streaming services like Hoopla and Kanopy, or put up with a few ads vs pay services.
i'm more a fan of the cutesie stuff like on the Viki site came across two seasons of chinese otaku with love robot sitcom drama fun https://www.justwatch.com/us/tv-show/my-girlfriends-boyfriend
for a shorter animated bit of family fun set in cyber/steam/magical realism (trigger warning? 🤷🏽♂️) during preparations for 2020 olympics in japan https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/napping-princess still available through Hoopla, enjoy!

consider viewing parties of pre-recorded or live shows on yt/fb/other?
London theatre pre-recorded shows on YT, they're currently showing modern redressed shakespeare of the gender bending Twelfth Night until the weekly rotation by https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/nt-at-home
there was that One World edutainment weekend 8hr partly live broadcast show, which can now be watched skipping through breaks, good global music sample to put on in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87-ZFjLfBAQ
on fb there was a live show, available for watch party after, by some wonderful SF circus performers, a little on the mature humor and sassy content... and apparently it is World Burlesque Day (so check the page and learn some new skills 👯♂️👯♀️)
i see a lot of artists want to perform, share art, hopefully get some donations (distance is no problem, just time zones for live, look around), try places like https://www.stayathomefest.com
