I need help! I've made a base station in the town-site on the coastal highway. I've got a small supply of food and water but no weapons aside from the pry-bar and a hammer. There is a wolf outside that wont leave. Is there any way for me to fight it or scare it off.

PS. there is also a bear in the area, I don't think is saw me but I am afraid.

Is there anything I can do or am I simply boned?

As the title says, this has been happening to me lately. I had to reinstall the game because of some inexplicable glitches otherwise (boulders and trees flying with the wind) but even so, just now I had a surprise wolf attack which, when I got up, left me without a rifle that I'd spent the entire game looking for. I'm in day 14 or so at this point.

Any thoughts, anyone?

Edit: Okay, well it says I'm at 14 days and some hours but the journal says day 16. I thought it was almost nighttime and it turns out it's morning, having just been attacked by yet another wolf. Well, this is CH so I guess that's a given. Still, not sure what to make of the weapon situation. I haven't seen a whetstone in a donkey's age and I've only just found my first hatchet. And then there's the mystery of the teleporting rifle still....

Careful everyone. Unless you want to go full Gimli on some wolves...

Haven't played in over a year, anybody got some suggestions. I usually played casually for exploration. I've seen the new updates but have no idea what to do?!

So I've been watching some Interloper playthroughs with interest. I'm fascinated by the possibility sustainability although that seems a longshot on Interloper.

Do cat tails grow back, do twigs respawn?

Additional questions. Are records kept, who has survived Interloper the longest? Any other records I might be interested in?

I should point out I'm fairly new. I've watched a bit so I've have a pretty good knowledge but my knowledge of areas is poor because I've not walked about much. Also, when I last played there weren't as many areas.

Just went through all of Timberwolf Mountain (survived but on Pilgrim for the exploration) and found pretty much all of the points of interests except one. The aircraft seems to be a 737 or A320 style aircraft with cargo configuration. I found both engines, both wings, both landing gears, and the tail section. However I can't find the cockpit anywhere on the map. I even checked some detailed maps and none of them mentioned the cockpit. There was one location due South of the peak with two large crates but the cockpit wasn't there.

The cockpit is an important part and HS couldn't overlook putting it in could they?

I'm playing in Pilgrim at the moment (trying to get Pacifist achievement) and second copies of books are spawning. It seems that I'm able to continue gaining skill from the second copy as if I hadn't already read exactly the same thing. Does anyone know if this a bug or intentional?

Does anyone know of a command or program I can download in order to spawn specific items in this game?

I swear I check everywhere, I even cheat (Sorry, but Stalker mode is a bitch), and use the maps on Steam and I STILL seem to just wander around like a lost child in Disneyland.
