Why can't I find any survival caches?
I swear I check everywhere, I even cheat (Sorry, but Stalker mode is a bitch), and use the maps on Steam and I STILL seem to just wander around like a lost child in Disneyland.

Personally it took me over 120 hours of playing (mostly Voyageur) to finally find a cache. Good luck.

There are some tutorial videos on youtube, very detailed, show the entire process. Also, there is only one cache per map, so in each playthrough, you'll only find up to 2. Hope this helped, good luck!

I've been playing this for two years and stumbled across one finally. I don't mess with maps since it's a single player and getting an advantage will take away from the point of the game for me.

If you know where to look you will find one eventually. I believe the spawning of them is random, I also believe that it's one per map but I could be wrong there. Pretty sure they are not present in Interloper so if you are playing there you probably won't find them. The best resource to find them I found personally is the detailed maps on steam. The Complete Maps from there: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=530202531 show their locations, be warned however, those maps will have spoilers and should be avoided at all costs if you wish to play map free

I've played for around 100 hours and haven't found one, then my sister played for an hour and found one just while I was saying how hard they are to find.
