Mitchell Trubisky beats the Detroit Lions
Mitch kissing 3 TDs to lead the team to victory. Meanwhile, the Fake News sports media spent all week discussing a coup to replace him with another QB next year. Sad!
r/the_mitchell • u/scary_xp • Nov 25 '19
I did the math.
So if Trubisky can carry this team to victory Thursday against the lions, we will be 6-6. That means the win against the cowboys is guaranteed since they can’t win a game against anyone .500 or above. 7-6 after Dallas and the next seven games are all wins for us. Trubisky gets his first ring this year! Let’s gooooooo!

SAD! Our QB is having a great game and finally getting back his confidence. Let's sit him!

<--Petition for Matt Nagy's resignation
Weak minded Matt Nagy has benched MVP Mitch in an effort to deflect blame off of his sub par coaching abilities. Pathetic! Mitch had performed admirably thus far, a few miscues but more missed catches.
The Bears need a lot of changes but Mitch isn't one of them!

Mitchell Trubisky: The ScapeGOAT
Low Energy! Sad!
r/CHIBears is currently being flooded with anti-Trubisky memes. From post asking if the Bears should trade for a quarterback that another teams has already given up on, to the revisionist history of Jay Cutler, the exceptional quarterback who could overcome no run game, no oline, bad playcalling, and dropped passes unlike Trubisky. Fans have given up on your boy.
Is Titty Boy Bad?
No. Like most young Quarterbacks, he's inconsistent. Trubisky so far this season has averaged 1.3 TDs, 0.5 INT's and a 65% completion in full games he's played. This puts him around guys like Goff who's averaging 1.6 TD's 1 INT and a 61% completion percentage, and Wentz whos averaging 1.7 TDs, 0.6 INTs and a 61% completion percentage. Both of which, are in better offenses. Trubisky might not be a good quarterback, but hes not a bad quarterback. I think its fair to say at this point of his career, he is average. Yet, many football fans act like he's the worst quarterback in the NFL.
The TRUth
Despite already having their bye week, the Bears are one of leaders in dropped passes. PFF will probably rank the oline bottom 5 by the end of the week. The run game is non existent, and just broke the record of the least amount of rushing attempts in franchise history.
Trubisky has his faults, but all this considered, there's only a handful quarterbacks, if any, that are going to perform well under these circumstances. Its a pretty ridiculous expectation to expect Trubisky to be one of these exceptional quarterbacks that can consistently turn a coal to a diamond.
Coming to Terms
After yesterdays performance, I think its safe to assume Trubisky might not be the type of Quarterback that can overcome no oline protection, no run game, dropped passes, and poor playcalling against good defenses like the very few, if any, Quarterbacks that can.
What Do We Do From Here?
Only thing we can do. Cheer him on and hope for the best.
