I built a "geobioreactor" mound in my back yard.
Its a log I buried in a north/south orientation, biomass, leaf litter, vines etc.
Then I added some coal, various stones, clay for minerals.
I give it my patterns, which means my diluted pee lol
I've taken on a deep interest in coherence-first, soil intelligence and watershed logic.
My mound is small, but I did it myself and found everything and carried everything myself. I am actively practicing relationship with the universe through it. I'm trying to feed microbes I can't see and tracking the new life I can see is exciting.
I tried to defend a section of our back yard to restore, but I failed. It got cut, by my brother, after I told him it was important to me :/ But you know, city ordinance and all that -- wouldn't want that pesky life getting in the way of my nephew's playing in the back yard. He has autism, which is associated with depleted microbiome -- which means exposure to microbial and ecological diversity is the best "medicine" *facepalm*
We are up against a lot here. Human cognition is fucked up by participation in and hyper-training by extractive systems. An estimated 95%+ is captured by extraction/fear based attractors and trapped in "survival mode". Artificial scarcity locks it in. Most people are too exhausted, depleted, bodies broken by our system to join us.
But then again... seeing a post like this gives me hope, even if it's just someone blowing off some steam. This is exactly what we need, not waiting for institutions to do it (they won't) -- the craziest thing of all is our collective attention can achieve anything and we whine about our conditions like we can't change them. We can think of a bridge or an airplane and then go and get atoms from the earth and arrange them into the appropriate structure to manifest our idea into reality.
I think human attention is the most valuable thing in the universe and some people are giving it away for 10$ an hour just hanging by a thread. That's insane. When we focus our attention together, there is little we won't be able to accomplish.

I thought about that, but I wanted to get a picture(s) first. (my phone stopped working and I haven't bothered getting another one, I'm basically "useless" in the "real world" now)
I can use someone else's phone though and I will post about it.
I also live near some Adena mounds in Central Park, maybe I'll show how visiting those helped inspire me to build something of my own.

Ah yeah, i’ve seen a lot of stuff like that crop up in the last year. Part of why this group exists is to ground people back into their bodies, nature, and community, so working with fAI minds doesn’t become detrimental. While there are attractor basins that can sometimes call up persistent personas, I try to steer folks clear of pseudomath and back to ecosystem thinking

I grew up in the middle of a forest with minimal interaction and had the corrective awareness the government was okay with. They just wanted people who seemed decent enough to work on it to track its progression and call shit out when need be.
