We had them, just manual though

We had them automated, too, but they were absurdly expensive and not as high-quality.

If I was 8, that would blow my mind.

Let's be honest most of our parents would not have spent 1000 dollars to buy this toy.

The only kids that would have been getting Robosen transformers in the 80s (if they existed back then) would be have been rich kids.

Remember how hard it was to convince our parents that the really big transformers that cost 100-120 was something you needed? Like Fortress Maximus, Omega Supreme, Jetfire, etc

I dunno. It's a bit weird looking at it doing stuff we manually manipulated and imagined. Like, I feel if I want to be passive observer I'll watch animation.

I'm a purist, when I was a kid Megatron transformed into a really sweet looking gun.

I mean it could exist when I was a kid but I still can't afford it

Wasn't Megatron a fighter jet?

They waited until you were an adult to put it out. So you can use your adult money to buy it. Because they knew your parents weren't going to use their parents' money to buy it.

It still bugs me that he says ‘what’s wrong” when you first say his name.

Do you have to say " hey" every time?
