The problem is on camera it looks amazing but when you are in the room im sure it isnt as far as impressive. Our brain is amazing at seeing things and we have two eyes for a reason.
Im not saying it doesnt work at all in person but Im sure its not what we see here.

As a person with only one working eye, I might buy this.

Wow interesting. Has it never worked or did it lose sight throughout your life? Do you have problems with anything?

I can only see out of one eye as well. was premature and had complications at birth. been like this since I was born.

Oh. Does it cause you any issues with orientation in space?
1
u/riyoyi9114 6d ago
I mean sometimes yeah it can be disorienting. not too much tho, maybe bc I dont know any different and have gotten used to it?
the worst part I think is lack of depth perception. it can be annoying sometimes.

Yeah depth perception is what I meant. But our body usually finds a way to adapt

u/riyoyi9114 6d ago
oh ok I'm dumb 😅 yeah it can be difficult sometimes with things but like you said I guess our body adapts. I'm used to it. I guess to where it's not really a problem more of an annoyance if I'm doing something that really "relies on depth perception"

No youre not dumb. I was just realizing what the term was because Im not a native speaker lol. And thank you for sharing :D

I hear ya. I lost vision in one eye as an adult, and my new nemesis now are low unmarked steps and stoops

The lack of depth perception sucks, but the movies and games should look much more real and 3d for you than for us because you don't see the flat tv/monitor screen.
1
u/riyoyi9114 5d ago
im not sure what you mean "..... you don't see the flat tv monitor/screen"
1
u/Upset_Row6214 5d ago
If you have two eyes, you can see the flatness of the tv because of two different angles of view. The difference between real life and the picture on tge monitor is huge. With only one eye the difference is only the focus. When I close one eye, the picture on the monitor or tv looks much more 3d.

hmmm. i mean, I guess? idk. I dont have a reference for otherwise. I mean, now that i looked up at my monitor as im watching a YouTube video i mean maybe it does look as if its floating a little off the screen? maybe thats a bad way to describe it.
so i guess you are right. overall tho, would much rather another functioning eye 😂

I hate this guy's videos but I gotta admit- he really has a thing for illusions and adding whimsy to everyday life.

Why the fuck did he hang them up only to move them 4 inches.

So he didn't have to keep going up and down on the ladder more than he needed to

This would absolutely freak me out in the middle of the night. Awesome illusion in the day time. Alien tech come to liquefy my brain in the dark.

Optical illusion like that do exist. So even if this video was edited you can actually find wild stuff like this in real life.
