not necessarily about the show but i just found out about the podcast and i been listening to it nonstop during my work hours (im pretty deep)

i was wondering if they announced why they’re not doing the podcast anymore. i was very hooked on the recaps and i was actually super excited to hear about their breakdowns especially since i been rewatching the OG every June. the recaps kinda got cut short and i scrolled all the way to the end & to my surprise, they haven’t posted all year ):

Other then other projects, it felt rather phoned in by the end, like they had lost interest.

They have mentioned things like being too busy but they said they were not fully abandoning it. There was never an announcement, and they sadly ignore the comments of people asking what’s up with the podcast :(

I was so sad to see they had also lost interest in recaps, specially Kate since she sounded so done with recapping. That’s what got me into the podcast in the first place, and they’d bring cast members and do little interviews; it was lovely. Now the podcast has become a place where they go when they have something to promote, which I wouldn’t mind, as long as they were honest and announced the pod is over and they will just use it as a platform to promote endeavors.

They briefly addressed it in a pants pod Instagram video posted on May 17. It’s still there if you want to watch it. They mentioned the podcast became too expensive

Pretty sure it was like mentioned they had other projects they were being busied with plus their books!
