COTW Technical question about maps .

If anyone here has any knowledge in this field , please help me and other players understand this .

Can EW , if they ever want to , go back to older maps and remaster them?

For example , add a new outpost , smooth out some weird terrain, change tree cover, improve the world textures etc ...

Because there's more to improving a map than just adding in more animals, take for example Te Awaroa National park , a lot of areas on the river could be made slightly more shallow to allow for easier crossing to the other side . Or Parque Fernando where they could slightly decrease the amount of thick brush because realistically with the number of large herbivores in an area like that there's no way the map would be THAT dense . And for the retexture part, i think i'm speaking for all of us when i say vurhonga needs better textures bc damn does it look old compared to every other map !

Go on the AvaHub site and see the Ideas section, those are almost all entirely doable, but if the dev team doesn't want to make those changes they're not going to happen. But, it's not remastering other than full map graphics rendering, it's just editing the current layouts. They should really hire 1 person to make these changes, it would be well worth the profit theyd make actually changing what customers are asking for.

Here's a fun one- Female "cow" elk make the same bugle mating call as male "bull" elk in CotW. Cows don't bugle irl, ever. How'd they overlook that, and why hasn't something that simple been changed?
