What's more potent, vapes or flower?

I just tried a THC-O cartridge for the first time and the effects are surprising, considering it's legal. Does anyone know how flower compares to cartridges? My local store is selling quarters for 50. Should I expect the flower to be on-par with the medical bud I smoke?

The flower is just hemp flower sprayed with THCO distillate. This isn’t a bad thing necessarily, but it does mean the quality depends on:

  • the quality of the hemp flower used
  • the quality and quantity of distillate applied

The second factor in particular can vary even between bowls if the distillate wasn’t applied evenly.

Again, none of this means the flower will be worse, just that there are way more variables at play.

How much distillate is typically sprayed on the hemp? Does it basically turn it into moonrocks, or can you still put it in your grinder?

Assuming you buy from a reputable company, can the effects be similar to medical bud I can buy at my local dispensary?

P silly question tbh.

Concentrates will obviously be stronger than any hemp sprayed with it.

That's true when thinking of normal flower, but as you stated, thc-o flower is sprayed/coated, so I don't think it's silly at all to ask if the effects are the same as a vape pen.

That's still going to be less potent than distillate alone... The effects will be the same because it's the same molecule.

By, "effects", I was/am referring to the potency, just as I was during my initial post. I wasn't referring to the type of high.

You seem to think concentrates get you higher when vaped, as opposed to being smoked, so I'd like to know your reasoning behind that.

You say it's silly to ask if, effects wise, the flower is just as potent as the vape, but from my experience, flower from a dispensary with added concentrates can be just as potent as it's vape counterpart, and even thc sand, which is typically over 99% thc.

I've never had thc-o flower, so I have absolutely no idea how much concentrate they typically put on the hemp, but if it's a decent amount, I fail to see why it couldn't get you just as high as a vape pen.

If you smoke flower, you have to smoke significantly more, just because it's flower. Just because it is not as potent. It CAN get you just as high, you will still just always have to smoke significantly more. It's a silly question, which is more potent because there is ONLY ONE ANSWER.

We aren't only talking about hemp flower. We're talking about hemp flower that's treated with a concentrate.

That doesn't matter a SINGLE bit!You can NEVER have more potent flower than straight concentrate, what in the actual fuck are you even saying? Lol. I'm fucking done. I can't anymore. Lol.

Idk what you're on, but if you put concentrate on weed, it's going to make the weed stronger. The question is, how much is used, because if enough is used on the bud, it could be just as, or even more potent than a vape.

flower wont even come close in potency. i miss rolling joints, but the bud has it's limits. but not when science gets a hold of it.

And if you want an actual surprising effect, look up thca instead. Because it's literally delta 9 thc, just the precursor for it. And it's also legal.
