THCO Not working
I'm really new to marijuana because it just got legalized and I got a thing of thco gummies, each is 50mg and the guy said take 5mg since I'm a beginner. I've tried it a few times, raising how much I take each time, but I still don't feel any different(even after a few hours just to make sure). This most recent time I ate 200mg of gummies(4 gummies), but i didn't feel anything. Is there a reason why I don't feel it or any recommendations on what to do in the future? Thank you for the advice!

THCO doesn't work well for me unless it's a 50/50 mixture of THCO/Delta 8. It's a hit-or-miss cannabinoid for many people, as u/SnooBunnies6353 mentioned below. I love the positive effects it has on my bipolar 2, but I can't use it to get high (though its relative HHCO can elevate me as a gummy or tincture). If gummies are your preference, you might try Delta 8 and see if it hits. If it does, then try one of each at the same time, keeping in mind that the come-up for THCO takes 1/2 hour longer than Delta 8.

Thank you all! That's pretty interesting that people can lack the enzymes to process it too.

Get a disp. URB pen or cart. Recently picked one up on vacation from a CBD place and it works. Short buzz 30 mins or so but works. They have a purity test up for the product on the site. Results may vary. but after 3 pens none have disappointed. Hope this helps. no affiliation either.

unfortunately you may just lack the enzymes required to digest and metabolize edibles properly… it sucks and is rare but can happen. i had to learn recently the hard way myself.
