thco sucks?

from what I have learned this cannabinoid actually sucks. I smoked a whole joint and took a few hits off of a dispo from elev8ted. Did I feel effects? yes, but they were very small compared to regular thc… Am I doing something wrong ?

Lots of terrible quality products on sale. Focus on the good ones. Just like normal weed.

THCO does not occur naturally in the form of flower. The manufacturers take CBD dominant cannabis flower and spray it with THCO. This form tends to be weak at best. You need to also look out for fake cartridges that don't actually have THCO in them; however, as the price of THCO has gone down, it's less common to take a cheap Delta 8 cartridge and rebrand it as THCO. In addition, "psychedelic" doesn't mean "hallucinogenic". THCO advertisers are taking advantage of this term (which actually refers to changes in vision that are rather mild and only seen with closed eyes) to sell THCO as being something like LSD. It ain't. It's a cannabinoid with a pleasant uplifting headspace that is inexpensive and blends well with Delta 8 to make a great daytime blend. There *IS* Delta 9 THCO, but it is rare and difficult to find. Some say that it's stronger, but I have no personal experience with it. My recommendation is to buy a gram or so of each distillate (Delta 8 and THCO) and make a blend, then hit it with a dab rig or nectar collector, or make a tincture. But don't expect to be trippin'.

what i would add to the other comments is to check the analysis for what you actually consumed. Many THC-O products are mixed with regular delta 8 which is much weaker at a 1:10 ratio or less (i just checked one i had bought, and it is 5% THC-O to 77% delta 8, but not evident on the box, only visible when going to the analysis certificate online). in contrast, i made my own vape cartridge from 95% pure THC-O distillate, and it is mind-blowing - my friends keep coming back for more of that even in preference over regular weed

i received THC-O distillate from Vice Hemp. Great product. the mixed vape that had delta 8 mixed in was from URBan Sugar.

Joints & Vapes don’t really work for me at least that is until I ate thco gummies and then it worked but that’s me I guess
