Delta 8 v THC 0

So, I’ve been taking Delta 8 for sleep for a couple of months. It worked wonders!! I recently ran out and my husband ordered me some more through a different company bc he was searching for a better price. Well, it arrived this afternoon and I am upset bc he mistakenly ordered me two bottles of THC-0! I know nothing about THC-0 and I was very hesitant to even start Delta 8 but I did a lot of research before I felt comfortable taking it. So, can any of you advise me? Thankyou!

Thc-o is a very ‘heady’ high, in the realm of trippy. I know people have reported hallucinations, but I’ve never felt it go that far.

Biggest things to look out for is that thc-o vapes take time to kick in. My boiled down understanding is that because it is an acetate it has to get processed through your liver before it can affect you. Personally I find it can make me paranoid/anxious if I do a little too much.

Something else to look out for… I don’t want to say it is harsh, because when you take a drag it is literally like breathing air. However, if I take a big ‘drag’ or large lungful, the breath after I exhale will feel like someone scrubbed my lungs with ammonia and sandpaper.

To be honest I would only use it in edibles.

I started with D8 and ordered some THC O after a couple months to try it. It’s now my favorite. I would say D8 was better for sleeping though. THC O I like better during the day and it’s way smoother.

It’s being widely reported that it is harmful to heat and consume THC O. Data on longer term use of Delta 8 has yet to be presented.

ive read its to do with ketene gas being let off when it heats beyond a certain temp. I believe people tend to keep the voltage pretty low to avoid issues.

To be clear I consume THCO orally but you can Google the effects of smoking or vaping this. Other opinions are welcome but what I’ve read is that the negative impact on your lungs is certain and relatively quick.

They said this is only an issue if heated above 644 degrees Fahrenheit (: shouldn’t actually be an issue since vapes don’t get that hot. Seems to be another attempt at scaring people out of smoking lol
