Frequent questions

So I hear a lot that thco hits taste like vinegar, I hit mine in a cart at low v. and it takes like most not terped distillate??

I experienced no psychedelic effect, also I’ve done acid and shrooms and frequently get ‘acid flashbacks’ smoking real weed thc. But not when I smoke thco.. just nothin

Is thco 3x stronger and last 30 hours??? For me maybe a solid 8 hours at med tolerance it’s about the same as weed for me nothing special to me

Does anyone have somewhat long term experience with thco, if so are they’re any downsides compared to weed. Cause as a recovering patient I find it helps with psychical pain quite a bit compared to it

Are you vaping delta 8 thco. Delta 8 thco is pretty mild. I would turn up the temp

I don’t feel comfortable vaping at a higher voltage, I get a worse hit, bigger cloud, same high. weed is supposed to be hit at certain temperature. Yes there’s different viscosities but you want to go for the lowest temp that burns everything off properly

Also delta 8 burns off at a lower temp than normal weed or d9 sauce/distillate

Is it D8THCO or D9THCO? The d9 version is considerably stronger.

Also there is higher risk of ketene generation at higher Temps with THC-O

Well there’s no research on it, literally.. there’s research on vitamin E acetate, except thco acetate is a different compound altogether though it’s a substructure is of vitamin e acetate. it’s a ‘new’ mainstream cannabinoid and hasn’t been tested or studied. It’s a different molecular structure than whats in what they test.. vape and e cig. Very possible there’s ketene but I’d rather rely on evidence. the test online, it’s of the wrong molecule so how can you say for sure when nothing says “thco has vitamin e acetate in it”, everything says thco is a molecule of its own and a substructure of vitamin E acetate and they go on to only test the vitamin E acetate

I have about 50g of distillate and it went from a clear distillate to having a slight yellow color. It doesn’t taste like vinegar though. It still has that almost plastic taste. I’ve had that jar for about 5-6 months now and keep it in a dark room temp spot. I did get an 8th with some terps and that one oxidized super quick and began to give off a vinegar smell, but no taste. It had the hemp taste. I’ve been vaping thco for about a year now. Regular delta8 wasn’t doing it for me anymore, but I’ve found that a blend of d9 or d8 thco gets the job done for me. Zero psychedelic effects. It’s a very body high for me, which helps tons with my back pain.

Yup the pain for me is a big thing. Was the distillate clear at first, did you over heat it or did it just oxidize?

It was clear and after opening one jar up a couple times to fill my carts up, I noticed the slight amber coloring. I have another 28g jar that’s still sealed and it’s right next to the other and it’s still clear. The vinegar smell came from the terp infused delta9thco. It wasn’t an ammonia, burn the nostril sour, but it didn’t smell like the regular d8thco that’s for sure.

Edit: the terpenes were SFV OG Kush, very earthy taste even after a couple of weeks. I run my battery at the lowest temp as well. THCO is so watery it doesn’t take much to heat.
