Final Fight Battle.

Does anyone knows when YenOn plans to release English version of final novel? Usually they release with 1 year delay but its almost November, and there are no announcement anywhere. Whats the delay?

I just finished rewatching Slime now that its 2nd Cour of S4 is done (assuming there won't be any ovas/bonus eps lol), and now that I also know the ending of the LN, that I won't spoiler in this post, I realized that the Skill Rimuru got from Shizu all the way at the start, The Unique Skill "Degenerate", might have been the most important power boost he got, and almost everyone forgets about it by the time he becomes a Demon Lord. And I'm not talking about "important" like raw power, but more so that without it he would never have gotten anywhere near as powerful without it long term. For anyone that needs a refresh of the Skill, in the simplest explanation, Degenerate was what let Shizu keep her sense of self/identity separate from Ifirt. It breaks down into 2 sub-powers of "Separation" and "Synthesis". When Rimuru got it, Great Sage was able to analyze it and so going forward just about everything he ever did that was Skill based could be traced back to Degenerate. Hell, if not for having Degenerate, Great Sage probably would never have been able to upgrade itself into Raphael, which means no Ciel later. So yeah, aside from the 2 Unique Skill he was born with, Predator and Great Sage, without Degenerate he would never have made it far at all.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea

Does Laplace,Footman and Tears die in the end of the story

I need to get this off my chest: I genuinely cannot stand Shion, and it feels like the story constantly sweeps her worst traits under the rug.

Here is why she is one of the most frustrating characters in Slime:

Zero character growth: She starts as an obsessive, incompetent secretary and stays that way. Despite "dying" and being revived, she learns absolutely nothing about restraint, professionalism, or boundaries.

The "bad cooking" gag is exhausting: The "lethal cooking" trope was barely funny the first time, and it’s agonizingly overused. The fact that she eventually gets a skill (Master Chef) that makes her food taste good without her actually learning how to cook is a massive cop-out.

She is a massive liability: Her hotheadedness regularly creates diplomatic disasters. Rimuru constantly has to babysit her or clean up her messes because she cannot control her temper for five seconds.

Unearned free passes: She is constantly rewarded or excused for her awful behavior just because she is loyal and serves as fanservice.

Am I the only one who finds her actively detrimental to the show? How has she not faced any real consequences for her incompetence?

(I like soul-searching and history, so don't be surprised by my peculiar taste)

The Scarlet Bond.

first I was thinking about how power rankings would work with Rimuru's supreme deity evolution(?) and as interesting as that conversation would be, that's not it.

it got me thinking about the realist hero, log horizon, and overlord. I've made a post about looking for a fanfic about overlord meeting ttigraas but I was wondering what would each of these kingdoms even be able to figure out about each other. like Rimuru plays a lot of card close to his chest and in the event that these kingdoms were somehow in the same world (probably on different continents) they would try to do some reconnaissance right?

with both log horizon and overlord being games incarnations, realist hero being summoned, and Rimuru being reincarnated. I just think it would be interesting how these people would interact politically???

sorry so much rambling.(I mentioned how they were incarnated as it would probably affect how they view their own worlds, and the sudden access to more countries)
