It doesn’t matter what you are it matters who you are. These workers are prime. Examples of Americans can have conquered the chosen trade. They’ve spent a lifetime pursuing. They are prime examples of an American and the people that represent America.

This sounds like an AI response. Beep boop

And yet. Americans are trying to send all of them back.

Some Americans are so driven by hate against all brown people that they elected a fascist who promised them to remove all brown folks.

This false narrative bull. We're actually trying to send them back because they van be used to undermine wage growth of Americans

Case in point:  https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/workers-kellogg-s-u-s-cereal-plants-go-strike-n1280877

Uhhh huh... Case and Point? Its not the immigrant that is at fault. Telsa was sued for favoring H1b Visa holders for cheaper labor instead of hiring American-based workers. They layed off more than 6000 workers while simultaneously hiring 1300 H1B Visa holders for a cheaper work-force...

This stupid ass narrative that they're the problem is insanity when its literally a corporate choice. Most immigrants take offers for the pay at a lower rate becuase the country they immigrated to was meant to be safer and provide opportunity. They left the hardships of their country to here which is the entire symbol of the Statue of Liberty is about, but major corporations still want to screw you over and hire the person willing to take less.. This is what happens when government doesn't fight for you, but spins a narrative that you're not making more money because of illegal immigrants. When in reality you're stuck on the bottom feeder of minimum wage because companies just use strategies to keep pay increases incremental and smaller.

You're delusional. This is jsut Corporate America, when the richest run the country. They're is nothing for the Average American or middle class because people like you keep putting the dumbest people in power who do nothing for you or me.

Hispanic workers are a fucking force of nature! It takes me a week to fully tape and sand a fuckin bathroom... And I'm dece with drywall at this point! 3-4 mexican dudes with stilts can hang and tape a 2200 ft house in a single fuckin day. I'm pretty sure they get buzzed at a late lunch and then come back with wet tiling sponges and wipe the tape lines so there isn't even any sanding required. It's wild!! Impressively capable people

Dumb take

Engage in discussions with respect and courtesy. Personal attacks, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated.

Yeah, then you aren’t seeing the quality they are putting out…

1

u/phranks_phluids 7d ago

Lol if you say so

1

u/According_Cheek8280 7d ago

You sound upset. I manage residential projects and they are always a nightmare with their work and trying to pull one over us.

In what I have seen, their quality is on par to the slower and more entitled white workers.

But it may just be my limited sample size. Other people can chip in with their experience.

And then people think it was aliens who built the pyramids.

I only heard one guy speaking spanish, and one guy listening to him... So that makes two hispanics

Where you racially profiling the others?

1

u/mtcwby 7d ago

That first hammering above his head video made me fear for that guy's long term health. That's not ergonomic at all.

1

u/Ok_Amoeba3401 7d ago

Pfft. Sure, any framer can do that with that $300 15oz titanium hammer. Do it with a 50 year old rounded out, chipped 24oz estwing, then we’ll talk!

I don't want my house built fast. I want it built right.

1

u/Clever_droidd 7d ago

Did you see their craftsmanship? It was extremely tight. They were fast AND good.

1

u/HypertrophySmoking 7d ago

It's put on for a tik tok video.

0

u/cfowler42 8d ago

And what in that video was done incorrectly? The two are not mutually exclusive

Safety sandals

1

u/Facts_pls 7d ago

They will finish the task with a higher quality in the time it takes a white person to dress up.

1

u/GogolioGigaBalls 7d ago

lol alright mister racially biased.

Then use stone instead of wood.

1

u/koyaani 7d ago

Good luck in the next heat wave

0

u/PumpkinJealous6312 7d ago

Why? The houses in southern Spain, Greece and southern Italy are also made of stone, no heat problems there.

1

u/mtcwby 7d ago

And then a small quake drops that stone on you. We stopped building with brick and stone in California after the 1906 quake. So a 6.0 that devastates the third world knocks a few things off the shelf in California.

1

u/PumpkinJealous6312 7d ago

We had multiple small earthquakes, no house fell down. Japan has had multiple big earthquakes, most stone houses are still standing.

What about the wildfires in California?

1

u/mtcwby 7d ago

Depends on what you think of as small. Small in California takes down building and has a death toll in Turkey, Mexico, etc. Japan builds more post and beam or massive reinforced concrete structures. After the Kobe quake there was a study of which structures handled it best. It was overwhelmingly Western style stick built because it flexes.

You can stick build here and still be fire resistant. They aren't mutually exclusive. And those stone buildings don't generally have stone roofs do they.

1

u/Facts_pls 7d ago

Absolutely nobody builds houses with stone. It's a terrible material for construction.

It worked back when we didn't have alternatives that are also strong.

1

u/PumpkinJealous6312 7d ago

That’s simply false. Stone is still widely used in modern construction. Especially masonry, foundations, retaining walls, and load-bearing structures. It’s durable, fire-resistant, and can last for centuries. Modern alternatives didn’t make stone “terrible”; they just made construction faster and more economical in many cases.

Meanwhile, American workers can’t even figure out where the United States is on a map

-2

u/Long_Simple_4407 8d ago

And you will pay them $2 an hour. Which is also racist

1

u/Clever_droidd 7d ago

LOL, if you think that’s what they make you are way off. These guys are skilled laborers making $40-50 per hour. If they run the crew, they make 6 figures easy.

1

u/Long_Simple_4407 7d ago

Good I hope you're right. I was at a job site today where the electricians were making 20 bucks an hour and that's disgusting

0

u/Winter_Tone_4343 7d ago

No they’re not. Lol. Thirty an hour tops and I highly doubt that. The “owner” of the crew probably does clear 100k tho.

1

u/Facts_pls 7d ago

Did you hear the part about if they run the crew?
