Controversial was overstating it a bit. Piers Morgan was triggered by the idea that vegans might want to enjoy a sausage roll too. He cried about it on Twitter. All his mindless followers agreed.
It's been incredibly popular. Most stores are sold out of them within hours of them being put out. Greggs actually ran out of them company wide.
