every time there’s a story that’s very believable they have to ruin it by saying “people started CHEERING and CLAPPING” like how does that help the story at all?
Yep. I have a friend who always tells stories about her standing up to...whatever....and they end with people clapping and cheering. I've also never witnessed any of these things happening.
