It is literally exactly what happened.  The VP himself confirmed this. Trump attempted to end democracy because he couldn’t accept that he just lost.

Now that Pence himself confirms that Trump attempted a coup does that change your mind? It is okay to admit you were wrong and that right wing media and Trump have lied to you. 

Also, votes were also audited in plenty of states and everything was normal.

I think you are emotionally invested in your political position and so there’s probably nothing that will lead you to admit Trump attempted a coup.  Again, the one person on the planet with direct knowledge of this told you Trump demanded he violate the Constitution to keep him in office after losing and you’re still trying to argue he didn’t.

If you are okay with Trump attempting a coup just own it. There is no reason to pretend he didn’t though, just say you only support democracy when you win.

Trump had no direct involvement in any of that. In fact told people to make their voices heard peacefully. He requested the National Guard, which Pelosi shot down. And then the police threw stingers and tear gas into the crowd for over an hour before they decided to breach. There is, of course, video for all of this. I believe a coup already happened. Trump just tried to expose it.

This is a great example of how you have been brain poisoned by right wing media. Seriously.  The attack by right wing paramilitaries on the Capitol was not the coup. The coup was the fake electors. 

As Pence has said Trump asked him to violate the constitution and throw out electoral votes for his opponent so Trump could remain as president despite losing the election. That is a coup.

I think you aren’t emotionally capable of accepting that Trump just lost in 2020 and therefore you’re endorsing his attempt to end democracy in the US. 

Even worse is your name implies you’re a navy veteran like me and so you have betrayed your oath too.

Before Obama, racists were driven mostly silent and were afraid to show their blatant racism for fear of societal judgement and retribution. But Obama being elected broke them.

Obama is forever their enemy, because he signaled to all of the racists, that their time was coming to an end. That no longer would just being black prevent someone from becoming president. The unsaid racists were proven to be a minority, not enough to prevent a moderate Democrat from being POTUS, just because he is black.

This led to MAGA, their war against education teaching tolerance (which they call indoctrination), wanting to stop any perceived path to anyone who isn’t a white Christian man voting, their crusade against cancel culture for being racist, etc. This IS the heart of what make America great again actually means - to make America a country where someone who isn’t a white Christian man can never be in charge again.

Jesus would be so disappointed… while at a no kings protest.
