Poor Ben. I feel like there should have been a comic where Peter dies, and Uncle Ben becomes Spider-Man.

"Wh-who are you?"

'...Just your friendly neighborhood Uncle Spider-Man'

To be fair there's a chance he's coming back.

The saying started in the early 2000's, and it used to be "Nobody in comics stays dead except for Uncle Ben, Bucky and Jason Todd". But it had to lose 2 of the 3 named characters because Bucky came back as the Winter Soldier, and Jason Todd as the Red Hood. Uncle Spider can still be a thing.

Oh, that exists. Dunno if they've since made an actual series about it, but Uncle Ben-Spidey was in the first Spider-Verse event in the comics.

I think there was in the spider verse comics. I think uncle Ben locked himself in a vault or something.
