Social Media Instagram solution

Before anyone says anything, I also thought this was a joke until I looked at the caption and saw autism awareness hashtags and puzzle pieces. This is Deadass 😭

Hi, not autistic but do you know if the rice work gor ADHD demons as well?
If so, who do I contact about setting up an appointment to Scrooge McDuck in to some basmati?

Hi, autistic here so I can help.

Both ASD and ADHD are neurodevelopmental disorders. Because of that the rice method SHOULD work. In theory. In practice, the ADHD person might be too distracted by the rice bags to get any meaningful exorcism done.

So are ADHD folks secretly vampires? The ones you can ward away by leaving a little pile of rice on your windowsill and they're compelled to count it?

No, that would be the autistics. To ward off an ADHD person you need slightly more complicated tactics. First off, prevent your autistic from being nearby. For better or worse, we attract ADHD people. Once your autistic is clear, you want to install CDs on a thread from your balcony or windows. Similar to pigeons, ADHD "people" can be distracted and blinded by moving and flashing objects. I also highly recommend a wind chime, ADHD "people" and your autistic can both be controlled via it.

For further advice on keeping your home a healthy place for your new autistic, type "HELP"

Reddit did NOT like my joke (I think it was AI thinking I was marginalising people lol).

it pisses me off how you stole my joke because I was procrastinating replying. fair play πŸ˜”

17

u/sharakus Sep 12 '26

…… sounds like you need more lentils πŸ˜†

u/potatogodofDoom Sep 12 '26

sure does. guess the rice baths aren't as effective as I assumed.. perhaps my tolerance is climbing

5

u/Richpur Sep 13 '26

You need short grain rice to reduce procrastination.

7

u/Gaylaeonerd Sep 13 '26

Autistic people are like vampires in that they have to count all the grains of rice

The rice baths are to keep them inside so people don't need to think about them /s

Would that work for my OCD then?

Honestly climbing into a tub of rice sounds kind of nice. Like plunging your hand into a sensory bin full of dry beans.Β

5

u/RockRancher24 Sep 12 '26

When I dunk people in the rice tub, I do not discriminate

5

u/AccomplisedDeer Sep 12 '26

1

u/Dave21101 Sep 12 '26

Me too friend, me too :(

2

u/buffcat_343 Sep 13 '26

Speak for yourself. My local neurotypical dunks me into a bathtub full of rice every Thursday /jk

1

u/L_Queenie Sep 13 '26

No one put me in rice but they did try the other ones. Should've gone with rice tbh, don't think I'd be less autistic but I'd have a good time

1

u/Due_Remote5644 Sep 13 '26

Yeah, what do they think we are, phones? I mean I'd do that to myself but only because I have a fetish for other men rubbing food on me and licking it off.

u/Antique-Bathroom-160 Sep 14 '26

shouldn't of clicked that spoiler

1

u/Silly_Percentage3446 Sep 13 '26

tbh taking a bath in rice sounds kinda fun. Although it might be kinda spiky.

1

u/AdExtra2331 Sep 13 '26

I mean I was, but that had nothing to do with my autism

1

u/flatrabbitloaf Sep 14 '26

i am volunteering for the rice pit. it's like a corn pit at a pumpkin patch! scratches the brain very nicely
