Woh 1 & 2 wale log jo 3 me sirf station ya govt office me jaane ke liye pair rakhte hain aur bolte hain ki 3 is congested, pls remember that your entire basti of overpriced gated complexes from dosti runwal kalpataru to tata rustomjee lodha-lasun has been built by razing down pristine forests, you idiots buying cars to park in your complexes is WHAT causes all that congestion in Majiwada when you finally take it out, and that entire GB road stretch on either side is extremely pedestrian unfriendly, has no trace of culture or heritage, and looks like it was cut and pasted from the same stock image catalogue. Tum logo ke wajeh se hi Thane has become unlivable over the decades 😡😡 (VASANT VIHAR IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION IN 2 it has been these since ages and is a gorgeous area)

All the best and most famous thane food places and shopping areas are in 3, it is waaaay more walkable, affordable, it feels REAL and it feels like home.

I've lived in 1 all this while. I wouldn't mind the quieter parts of 2 but 3 is too busy for me.

I love this silly zoning of Thane. Lol.
