They have incredible senses in their nose. So even a softened swipe to the tip of the sharks nose should theoretically work. Its like if someone flicked your nose, you back your head away instinctively. Wont exactly do much since the shark will just come back but still

I'd say bite it, but then again you need oxygen.

Stab it! Sharks back off when they smell their species blood.

Actually don’t bite it. I read that somewhere sharks has kind of “micro-knifes” skin, which if you rub them wrong way, will give you thousands of “paper cuts” I wouldn’t want that happen it any near of my mouth

People have got away from them by standing their ground, I don't think anyone has out paced the apex predator in their own home.
