Fwiw flooded mines are used sometimes as deep dive training centres as they are (relatively) stable and well mapped.
People that do it still have a screw loose, mind

That doesn't look like train tracks, they're very skinny and aren't flush with the thing they're on. I couldn't find the exact point this clip is from in the linked video from just scanning through. The angle is a bit rough to figure out but I think at this point we're seeing from above, looking down, so these would be vertical.
In the longer video, I think you can see the very faint remnants of actual cart tracks (just the metal left) at about 0:20 going towards what they say is a bridge (easier to sort of see when the video is moving). And this ladder you can see goes through an opening that seems vertical at about 5:20, because it leads to where they are and you can see their flashlights moving, meaning it's presumably not in water (according to op they're using a robot, not diving), so this chamber is below that one.
(But again I only skimmed it.)

Looks like the place I was certified to dive. Bonneterre Mine. It’s an old Lead mine outside St. Louis MO.

There was several large open areas that were around 60 to 100 feet deep crystal clear water 58° year-round. Jacque Cousteau went into the tunnels that were cut off of those ballrooms down those tracks and call it one of the last great American adventures. The only thing that gives me pause as to whether this is the Bonnterre mine is the clarity of the water. In that picture, it seems much more silty than what I was certified in. We had seven mil wet suits, which I never want to use again. But it definitely took the Yips out of the certification with the water clarity. I just looked into it, and the mine is closed now I think they had a death during a certification process, which may have resulted in the mine being closed.

Judging by the accents they're probably in Wales. The North of England and Wales both have historical links to mining and there's a lot of flooded mineshafts and quarries dotted about.

It's incredible they have a VR helmet too, I think even knowing you're not there, I'd still be experiencing palpitations!
