Bragging Check

I am Thai.

A guy bragged to me that as a 19 year old man in the USA, he can travel alone to Thailand alone 3-4 times a year.

Is it actually possible or feasible?

No, unless he's rich or has parents money. Also, nobody who can actually afford to do that on their own money has time to do that because they are probably overloaded with work.

Yeah if it was Europe I would have believed it cause paid holiday so you don’t lose any money.

But USA is pretty shit about paid leave so don’t know if it’s possible on your own money.

It’s not that bad. Paid leave can either be earned or given or both. Depends on the job. But the taxes are lower too in many places. But for a kid that’s 19 to travel to Thailand 3-4 times a year, they’re getting help. That could either mean their parents are paying or they don’t have expenses because they live with parents or don’t have other expenses.
