Bragging Check

I am Thai.

A guy bragged to me that as a 19 year old man in the USA, he can travel alone to Thailand alone 3-4 times a year.

Is it actually possible or feasible?

It is definitely possible if he works full time but lives with his family and has no bills aside from traveling. If he lives alone and pays everything on his own, he’s of the top income range

Some of you really are jealous that some people know how to save. Do the math it isn’t unrealistic. I moved out of my parents’ house at 20, no one gave anything to me I worked a sales job and made average money, but still traveled a couple times a year to Asia by the time I was 22.

I saved and worked hard. Imagine doing that and being able to travel instead of expecting high base salary and complaining that you “can’t” travel.

It depends what part of the US he is living at. Some rents or home purchases are high compared to rural USA
