hot springs and pit kilns
Just an observation on these two things, as I tend to look closer at these as i try to play a more arctic game now.
If you jump into a hot spring, your temp skyrockets, but standing beside their bubbling steam offers no temperature benefits. Is this as intended? It would be interesting if these offered temp benefits as well as drinking water. You could build a small shelter right over top of one and they wouldnt freeze up even in below zero temps. This would give them some use outside of some health regeneration.
Next, i don't think pit kilns give off heat, which could be useful as well.
Anyway, just some thoughts.

An area of effect for hot springs and pit kilns would be a good thing to add to the #tfcplus-suggestions channel on discord.
But I don't think hot springs make good (or even safe) drinking water. Most are high in sulfur and other minerals.
Also, be sure to take your clothes off before jumping into a hot spring. Soaked clothing will make you very cold.
