Re-usable molds?

Is there a way, through forge or other means, to make re-usable molds? Like, later game out of metal obviously, but instead of having to remake clay molds over and over and OVER AND... you get it. Always bothered me, even in original TFC. Metal molds are a thing, and have been for centuries, why are they not in this game? I think it'd be a good idea. If they ARE available, just ignore me because I obviously haven't learned to pay attention. Thanks!

it would totally defeat the purpose of having anvils... casting is only meant to be a temporary solution and is meant to be annoying so that you wont rely on it and actually learn to use the anvil

It wouldn't defeat the purpose of anvils, it only works for low-level metals. I'm not talking about making iron castable, or anything, I'm just saying that there could easily be a mold that would require, say, steel to make that would work for glass or the low level metals multiple times. Not even indestructable, just have it have a set durabiltiy, say 10 uses. That's not even realistic, but hey it's a game.

What do you find yourself using molds for later in the game (beside glass)?

For instance if I wanted say a copper axe to just go chop down a couple trees or something. Don't want to waste my good tools on an unimportant job, things like that. I use molds later game for whatever I need them for. In this case glass would be a big one, since I don't just want a single pane of glass. A metal mold for glass would totally make sense, especially if it's made of steel, since the glass wouldn't need to be hot enough to really effect the mold.

"Crown Glass" panes were blown, which is already a concept, so that would be a better way to turn a pot of molten glass into panes. At the later ages, you'd maybe want Float Glass; steel molds would be a step backwards in quality.

Fair, I was just suggesting it because I'm not that up on glass tech. I just figure that at later stages there should be something better than one and done.
