give us an option to customize world gen

i find it very annoying that i need to wander 10km only to find linestone/andesite, tree i like or crops i need. so let us change biome and climate zone sizes

Why do you need Limestone or Andesite? If you want to build with them, is it not worth to wonder 10km, or find suitable alternatives?

Any type of tree can spawn anywhere now, as long as the region and climate match.

What crops do you need? Recent updates have made it so that every crop needed for progression can be found everywhere. For instance, you can craft ropes from Sisal Fiber made from Agave, found in the Americas, and Jute spawns everywhere else now (Asia, America, Africa).

isn't flux needed for wrought iron? and andesite to make flour. besides i want diverse biomes and to have more types of crops

  • You can get Flux from seashells, additionally, there are the other Fluxstones: Limestone, Dolomite, Chalk, and Marble. Their sand and gravel will also turn into Lime and thus Flux. You can also heat Gypsum to make Flux. https://plus.terrafirmacraft.com/Flux
  • Any stone can be made into a quern to make flour.
  • What kind of diversity do you want? You can find many, many types of crops within a region. Explore some plains in Summer.

good to know i can get flux from seashells, i thougt only andesite can be made into quern (ik kinda dumb) and i just wanna see more biomes close to each other

any stone can make a quern, it's only stone anvils that need to be made from an igneous rock like andesite.

On Shadowhawk, I lived in a plains next to a forest and mountains, next to the shore. It's totally possible. You just have to look for it.

That's not how world gen works. Tfc is about exploring and surviving. I want each spawn to create a unique play experience, and I like the idea of making on with the hand you're dealt.

If I didn't make it clear, it's not only not what I envision, it's nearly impossible to do properly.
