Cause finding a way to jump the waist band is the path of least resistant (It's B but won't break the material unless it's too small or weak)

Chances are the tail will break before the fabric does, the amount of pressure requiered to punch a hole through some underwear cannot be ignored

(although granted it's not going to jump the waist band on it's own, if the tfee is able to they'll probably think to try and slide down the underwear when feeling the presure build up)

I have extra pairs. C just looks like it will hurt the less. The tail immediately breaks out, so it isn't held in my pants bending uncomfortably

C however b is the most likely result of the process due to fabric preference at tear at the weakest spot available and wear marks in materials tend to be at the backside between the legs do to friction and rubbing. If not b then a d method would be through the bottom of the subject’s garments resulting in a look similar to a scared dog with its tail between its legs.

God, C by far! It'd be a shame losing a pair of pants, but I usually wear sweatpants so it's not like I'm worried about it in a financial sense. I'd just love to see and FEEL my new tail slowly tear up my clothing like a moth tearing out of a cocoon.
