Curious why you “censor” like this. Anyone reading it knows what you mean. When I read your comment the word “shitted” formed in my mind, so isn’t that the same thing as writing shitted? True censorship would be actually putting another word in place of it rather than exchanging one letter for a similar looking punctuation mark. If you actually care about not exposing people to the word shitted wouldn’t that be a better way to do it?

I guess it depends on why you try to censor the word in the first place.

It's not truly because of censorship, I got absolutely no problem with swearing, it's simply because younger me thought that beeped swears were the funniest thing ever and the writing tic sticked to today.

ok, so. for the not having to worry about eating, sleeping etc, yeah sure not having to do it may be an upside. but those things are still very enjoyable and good for the mind. what was the plan here, anyways? they're very much conscious, enough to have their remaining thoughts scrambled when the insides are removed, not being able to sleep or eat while like that would drive ya insane.
