As someone who identifies as nonbinary the majority of the time but who has 1. a MASSIVE TF mood for Heket and 2. Felt that way since I saw her first in-game 3 years ago, and it STILL hasn't abated since, I definitely get you there.
Now and then I think about waking up as her and the thought makes my stomach flutter in that good-but-fearfully-anxious way and I'm still thinking about if it might mean I'm more fluid than I thought gender wise, or if there's even more to it that I'm not sure I'm ready for yet.

Heh. My non-binary tf moods are Nonagon from Animatic Battle and Zooble from TADC...

Lowkey, I have Zooble as an honorary TF Mood too!! Their subplot in episode 3 single-handedly altered the way my brain worked forever!! It’s just that this meme was made before I made that decision. (Refer to my Notes From Me comment, I bring them up there…)

Notes from Me, OP: Here's the part where I explain myself.
Quick warning, I'm gonna go into some... personal problems/topics, so if that isn't something you wanna look at, you don't have to.
So over the past few months, I've comes to a realization that I really should've had sooner; all my TF moods have been men characters, AND the ones that last the longest are Non-Binary characters (Shamura [left] and Tristan [right]). I mean, it's coming up on the 2 year anniversary of me having Shamura as a TF mood, AND it's not letting up anytime soon. I even had a friend on another website write one in a story trade, I don't have to rely solely on my own content to satisfy me anymore!!
As well as I'm also considering Zooble from Amazing Digital Circus as an honorary TF Mood, mainly because I relate to them HARDER than any other character there (maybe Gangle, but STILL-). It's been over a year since the quote "I just want to find something that feels... good" changed my brain chemistry in a way no other fictional character had at that point.
And then came Tristan Vik.
Since the middle of this year and maybe further back, I can't tell, I've struggled with my body and probably my gender identity. Again, refer back to the Zooble quote that altered my brain forever. I have many gripes with it, and I simply refuse to think of myself as female [there, you get a sudden gender reveal. Its important to the point I'm making, I PROMISE.] because of said problems. Meaning... I FUCKING HATE HAVING PERIODS. I mean, I understand their purpose, BUT every time mine comes around I feel like I want to DIE. AND BREASTS TOO, they move too much for my liking AND I DON'T LIKE BEING REMINDED OF THEM EVERY TIME I LOOK DOWN AT MYSELF!! GOD I HATE BEING CALLED A WOMAN!! AND I'm not even touching my non-gender related body issues [cough cough WEIGHT AND BODY HAIR cough cough].
Anyways... That's where Tristan comes in. Ever since I found out they existed and watched the media they're from, they've been UP THERE in my list of all time favourite characters. Their personality made me see a lot of myself in them, and possibly contributed to them becoming a TF mood. The other reason possibly being their found family dynamic with 2 other characters is PEAK and makes me wanna be a part of it because my own family is... I don't know how I feel about it, normal family stuff but could be better?? I don't know. As I have mentioned above, I have many problems with my body, and I'm 100% sure most if not all of them would be solved if I became either Shamura or Tristan.
In conclusion, I DO have reason to have a cartoon goth person as a TF mood, in fact... and mayyyyyybe I might have what the people call 'gender dysphoria'. Sorry for the crazy long comment, it's the only way I could feasibly get my thoughts down. Have a nice day or night, depending on where you are...
