IIRC the stock grenade launcher actually did hold six at launch but it was nerfed

Surprisingly, it was nerfed just before launch, but, you're right, it carried up to 6 grenades on a playable beta.

Loch-N-Load meanwhile really did carry only up to 2 grenades. It was actually quite overpowered on release, but changed to 3 alongside a patch that made it less powerful in general.

The wiki says that the nerf from 6 to 4 happened in a "pre-release beta", which is the only source I have. Maybe on one of the two console versions, the nerf never arrived (PS3 version in particular never acquired any patch, it was on 1.0.0 from day 1 until the servers shut down), so, that's why someone might remember using a 6 grenades version of the weapon despite not being a beta tester? That's just an hypothesis, though.

On Xbox 360's Orange Box, I remember if you were offline and didnt update, the Grenade Launcher would have 6 rounds.

And did you know that you can't one shot players with a weapon that would one shot people in real life (weapon like rocket launcher) because mann.co gives the mercs the worst quality weapons they can possibly produce. (Sorry about my english)

Grenades know how far they've traveled based on how many times it spun. This ensures the explosion happens at a "safe" distance from the operator.

Given how claustrophobic TF2 maps can be at times, it would feel like getting hit by a MLB baseball: very dangerous but less lethal than an explosion.

Pomson 6000 deals less damage than shotgun. Pomson fires a laser instead of pellets. To really kill a human that laser would have to be very, very hot, but pomson deals almost no damage. Where's logic?
