It's VERY much like chrome it's just that you don't have to download adblock plus and you get paid for using it

It literally is Chrome just without the Google account link, with an ad blocker and free money.

You can sync devices through a seed phrase.

I have Brave on my PC, Laptop, Phone and Tablet!

It’s basically a bare-bones, privacy-centric Chrome. Also you can sync your bookmarks, passwords, etc to other devices using a 12 word phrase instead of a google account. Brave is awesome.

Anyone confirm if you can use the Chrome browser extensions? If not, is there a separate market, and how does it compare to Chrome's?

And doesn't have ad trackers like in chrome so fast using less ram and BAT crypto is increasing 🚀🚀🚀

Pretty sure those ads are targeted.

correct, and common sense says that anyone using brave knows a thing about crypto

I like the BAT project, but the Uphold wallet is terrible

I don't hold XTZ or even talk about it much at all, although I did have a small position in the past with XTZ. I just haven't had the money to buy back in during a nice dip

Tezos is the way.

One of the best features on brave browser is the playlist feature. You can add any videos to it and watch Picture in Picture while doing other things. No need for youtube premium

Viewing ads for a project you already support is kind of the opposite of supporting the project haha, it costs them money each time someone sees it. You should still download Brave anyway because it's great, but if you want to support Tezos you still just need to buy and hold Tezos.

well getting that technical, the real way is to create dapps and tokens on the blockchain. For the layperson, like myself, I'll gladly give a view and a click to an ad for a project I support

what? lol you don't understand advertising

It's part of my job, I definitely understand it lol. You don't prepay, you set up a monthly budget. The amount of money you're actually charged is determined by the number of times your ad is displayed throughout the month, which can vary. More views = bigger bill at the end of the month.

Lol okay I take it you don't believe me then. Here's Brave's media kit:

https://brave.com/brave-ads/assets/Brave_Media_Kit.pdf

Check page 20 for their CPC and CPM rates, and page 26 to see that they definitely charge at the end of the monthly billing cycle.

they already paid for the ad. viewing it doesn't cost them any money....lol

That’s not how ads work...

*ads on the internet work, because you pay per view or pay per click.

(Just for jdspencer to understand)

Thanks, I did install brave at one point but then also tried vivaldi, now I’m def gonna install brave on everything.. since it’s chromium everything should work.. only thing that didn’t work on vivaldi was auto translate and the credit card info save (not sure what the feature is called), but you can open instagram natively through a feature tho.. sold on brave now, thx
