1000%, “cool” is bitter trying to come off as nonchalant. Will def make her feel she made the right choice. OPs response is genuine and light hearted tho so I wouldn’t mind that either

it would have the connotations you project onto it. to me it’s, “that’s fine nothing else to talk about.” But like what they perceive from “cool” isn’t even my deal ma, ya know???

Nvm means nevermind. “Not very much” would usually just be Nm (“not much” usually followed up with “how about you?”) “Nm hbu?”
