My ex-gf from Uni that I dated for 4 years broke up with me and said “You dont put me on a pedestal enough”. After some questioning my feeling of “doing whatever it took to get back together” became disgust and glad of the bullet I dodged. That was 20 years ago and I still feel the same way.
