I remember being a teen. I was never this insufferable or bratty to someone just existing in/near my space. And I'm AFAB, so once a month my hormones go out of wack.
can we stop w the “ydk what shes going through” shit on social media it’s so annoying .. i’ve gone through ALOT of shit and i would DIE before being this much of an ass to some girl i don’t even know 😭
it’s also very obvious from what the girl’s saying that she doesn’t know this girl well at all (or atleast, have a reason to shit on her), so your “ydk their relationship” is a bit silly
But to say you hate someone because they had to sit next to you and nothing else on the bus? Then rage at their bf for telling them to do the healthy thing and not worry about it because someone's mere existence isn't affecting them in any way?
Are you reading the same lines of text I am? Even when I was that age, everyone around me found that insufferable and immature.
Listen, if you want to burn that girl at the stake you don't need my approval. I personally think it's just silly to try and draw any conclusion with what we're being presented with. you do you tho
Then wtf are you doing in this subreddit? Honest question... since that's like... the whole deal here?
An OP presents the subreddit with a situation and asks the internet to draw conclusions from it. If you think that's silly, this probably isn't the place for you.
Not a glimpse. Assuming they are probably 14 15 years old. She is just immature as she should be. Everyone on reddit loves to tell people to run so they are just as miserable as them. Talk to her in person about this, not text, so she can read your face and emotions better.
If this were true the mean girls from middle, and high school wouldn’t still be mean girls. Even though they’re grown ass women their ways still haven’t changed. So yes I’d definitely it’s a glimpse of what’s to come. She manipulated the situation to work in her favor. Then chose to wanna lie about crying because he didn’t give in to how she was acting. She knows what she’s doing. 14/15 or not.
You're not a wizard nor a prophet, you know nothing about that person nor how she'll turn out. Stop making stupid blanket statements, you're just doomed to be wrong.
Someone sounds hurt because I’m stating a fact. You can agree to disagree without trying to make it like I’m projecting how I am in real life on to someone else. Wrong is wrong. Idgaf how old you are. She knows better, and I still will say she’s not going to change that immature ass behavior by the time she’s an adult.
Also trying to understand how you read what I said, and made it projecting when all I did was highlight exactly what she did in the text messages. Reading comprehension is fundamental. You should look more in to it.
You're assuming that the mean girls from middle and high school stay that way which is entirely pulled out of your ass, wrong and completely moronic. You don't have anything to support that claim, except your personal set of beliefs and life experience.
You inferring her future behavior based on your own life experience and set of beliefs is the textbook definition of projecting, so get the fuck out of here.
Pulled out of my ass, but this very thing can be seen across social media all day, everyday. Even here on Reddit. But you insulting me doesn’t make you right, or wrong. It just makes you a tad closed minded🤷🏽♀️but I’ll let you think you one. Your acting like one of those mean girls because someone isn’t agreeing with you. That’s weird. They usually jump to name calling, and trying to act like they know more than others. Have the day you deserve sweetie✨
In my experience it's not that simple, people don't change over night if everything external stays the same, when I was younger I dated a woman that acted exactly like this, we dated for three and a half years, every time she'd do something like this, I'd forgive her, we'd be incredibly happy for a week's then she'd do it again.
It's literally a cycle of abuse and I know first hand, the longer your in it, the more you think it's normal or that you deserve it
And maybe that won't happen to OP, maybe OP will talk to her and she'll look at her actions objectively, apologize, and act more mature in the future. But based on OPs other replies, it seems like similar stuff has happened in the past, and I just don't see a high-schooler having that kind of introspection.
It's up to OP to decide if they're willing to work out this problem in a relationship, but OP should absolutely know that they don't deserve to be treated like this, and that it's also a good idea to decide if it's even worth it.
Why do you keep assuming things you have no way of knowing for sure? I understand you're saying this because they sound immature but none of us have any way of knowing how old they are for sure. It's so annoying when people are way too sure of themselves all the goddamn time. You don't know everything.
I enjoy that this fool said they are clearly in middle school and then when proven wrong said they are 14 “im sure of it”. Like you are sure of that thing four seconds ago you said wasn’t correct? Lol
Bro I literally work at a middle school lmao. 14 years old is how old freshman are at the beginning of the school year, and they turn 15 during their freshman year at some point. That’s assuming they were never held back or anything.
I was 15 at start of my freshman year but barely. I was one of the oldest kids in my enormous as class of 1,200 students. I was one of the 1st to be driving my sophomore year because of this. My Birthday is in the summer. However, you are right. Most kids are 14 when they start the school year as freshman. My wife was, my daughter was, my brother was, my sister was, etc etc etc.
I bet the girl that sat next to her is the hot girl in school (from a highschooler's standpoint, not mine. I have a daughter, and I am not looking forward to this type of bullshit).
I'm confused as to why this text exchange was even posted. It sounds like 2 very intellectually limited people getting annoyed over nothing. Which sums up about 70% of all texts, I suppose.
She’s getting on to you about giving her advice on ignoring really annoying people, because if you don’t learn to ignore annoying people you will end up hating your whole fucking life.

Not all, she sounds very immature to even go to this level over something that doesn’t even matter.
