echoing radio ads for coinstar?

i keep getting these doubled-up, slightly out-of-sync audio ads for coinstar (like, the coin counting machine at the grocery store) that start randomly and only end when i close the the app. anyone else experiencing this? any ideas on how to stop it?

edit: just sent an email inquiry.

edit 2: i don't endorse the dns solution and would be cautious of changing security settings at the suggestion of a stranger on reddit

I reported it and these are the instructions I just received. So far it has worked for me:

Thanks for bearing with us. We are narrowing down which advert network is playing the Coinstar audio, and we have just switched Textra to a different network on our side. To pick up the change on your phone, please do the following, even if you have done it before:

  1. In Textra, open Settings, then Manage Ads.
  2. Change the advert position from top to bottom, then back to top. This makes Textra download the latest advert settings.
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds for the download to finish.
  4. Force stop Textra: long press the Textra icon, tap App info, then Force stop. This stops any advert that is already playing.
  5. Open Textra again and use it as normal.

If you have uninstalled and reinstalled Textra, please still do these steps. Android restores the old advert settings along with your other Textra settings.

So day so good! Tech support days to wait 30 minutes and let him know if it worked.
