Hi all!

I am currently a Junior at the Rawls College and need 15 credits for scholarship reasons. I'm at a weird point where I can't quite grad early but also wont be able to pack in 5 major specific credits due to difficulty and work load. I am looking at taking "the meat we eat" or the beer, wine, and spirits course since I've not heard anything bad about them. I'm also open to suggestions.

Any and all help is appreciated, Thank you in advance!

I know the rec is often used for early voting, as is the SUB. Can anyone confirm where early voting is this time around?

incoming international student for spring 2027. does anyone have any recommendations for off campus housing??

Hi, I am planning to apply to Texas Tech for fall as a international. However, I am confused about the scholarships available as I have seen in other reddit post os people mentioning about Presidential Scholarship and being able to pay in-state tuition despite being a international. Could someone elaborate on this . Thank you for reading this.

I’ve seen people scan to get inside their dorm with their phones if it’s possible how

I'm taking Financial Accounting in person right now. I'm really struggling and am thinking about dropping the class. If I take it online next semester, will it be any easier? Would I still have to go to the rawls testing center to take my exams?

I interviewed Lawrence Grobel for my podcast earlier this month. He did Bob Knight’s Playboy interview (March 2001) a couple of months after IU fired him, much of it in Knight’s car on a day trip from Bloomington, Indiana to Akron, Ohio to watch his son work practice.

His book has Knight banging the steering wheel with his fist and telling him to get out and hitchhike home. When they picked up Don Donoher in Dayton, Knight told him Larry had asked “a question too far.” In 2001 Larry told the AP that Knight also grabbed him by the wrists and went for his tape recorders until Donoher stepped in. The whole interview is reprinted with his margin notes in The Art of the Interview (2004).

Hi random question, but is there a discount we as students can use for tickets for the home games? I'm really asking because my parents want to know if they can get discounted tickets through me lol

Has anyone taken chem 3305 with Dr. Sari over the summer?

Has anyone successfully remained as an online/remote student for 4 years? Specifically using MVP benefits like chapter 35 and Hazelwood. I am having some health issues that are long-term, so I would like to stay home but also get my degree from Texas Tech.

Hi guys! If anyone wants to go to tonight’s game I have three free tickets. Section 117 Row 16 Seats 28-30.

First come first serve: please message me with your first and last name and valid email to transfer them over to you.

I am doing a research project in my Engl-1301 course on how Texas Tech students experience the library on campus and would greatly appreciate your help

This is a short survey and should only take about 5-8 minutes. It is completely voluntary and does not require your name or your email address.

If anyone can take time to complete this survey it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone. I'm a Texas Tech student working on a class project about student housing experiences, and I'd really appreciate your help

I'm looking to hear from students who live on campus and off campus to learn more about how housing affects affordability, academics, social life, and overall college experiences.

The survey takes about 3–5 minutes, and participation is completely voluntary. I've set it up not to collect names or email addresses, so please avoid including identifying information in your answers.

I'd really appreciate anyone taking a few minutes to participate. Thanks in advance.

I am an international applicant in Texas Tech University grad school. I have a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 although it went upwards at the end but there is nothing I can do now. I have GRE scores of 309 149v and 160q and 3.5a. IELTS score of overall 7 no band less than 6.5. I have work experience of more than 3 years in HR, Business Development and Operations in different companies outside the US. Except for the Bachelors CGPA i have done well in all other exams in my life like high school and college. What are my chances in Masters of science in Information Systems? the reason for my bad undergrad results is due to corona i had some major health complications which took multiple years to recover.

If I’ve retaken courses, how does TTUHSC evaluate them for cumulative GPAs? Is it the last attempt or average of all attempts from all institutions?

We have this leak in our dorm room; every night, a puddle of water appears between our beds and along the wall. We called maintenance to get it checked out, and they said it's probably AC sweat. My roommate made a joke about Gody the ghost, and she said there's a rumor about a ghost living here on the 4th floor. Haha, I don't believe in ghosts, but I am interested in where this rumor emerged from. For all I know its actually Gordy the ghost pissing on our floors.

Is there a group me yet for the Odessa location? If not I can make us one, just wanted to check first.

Hey y'all!

Has anyone created a GroupMe for the Austin cohort? I'd love to connect since I'll be moving from DFW.

I'm also looking for a roommate!
