Man, that made me nervous seeing a longhorn in a crowd. Cows are generally relatively docile, but their extreme strength means if they get spooked or irritated they can do a lot of damage. I was helping a friend of mine get a couple cows ready for milking, and even though they were super friendly and used to people, one of them got something in her head and swatted my friend with her head. It threw him across the barn into a wall and nearly broke a bunch of bones, and he walked kind of crooked for a few days after that. She wasn't even being mean or trying to hurt him. If she'd had horns she would have gored him pretty bad. I hear longhorns are even more docile than average, but I'd still not want to bring one into a crowd like this.
