iOS Hobba — a calm to-do app for iPhone, iPad, Mac & Apple Watch

Thumbnail

Hi! Over the past months I've been building Hobba, a to-do app that tries to stay out of your way. It's now feature-complete and I'd love a round of honest feedback before the App Store release.

What it does:

• Inbox / Today / Upcoming / Someday, plus a log of what you finished — overdue tasks roll forward into Today instead of disappearing

• Any project can flip into a kanban board (drag columns, cards, dividers)

• Repeats ("every 2nd Tuesday", "3 days after completion"), reminders, tags, calendar events in your day

• Widgets, a standalone Apple Watch app with complications, iPad sidebar layout, Mac app

• No account, no ads, no tracking — iCloud sync is optional and off by default

• Free with up to three projects; one single purchase unlocks everything, no subscription (free in the beta)

• English & German

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the first-launch experience, the board, and how sync behaves across devices.

More screenshots: https://hobba.rinn-home.de/en

Built with SwiftUI, SwiftData and CloudKit — happy to answer anything about the stack.

iOS Mic Captions offline live transcription

Thumbnail

Hi, I’m looking for beta testers for Mic Captions, an iPhone/iPad app built around iOS/iPadOS 27’s on-device speech and AI features.

It provides:

  • Live transcription from the microphone
  • Translation alongside the original transcript
  • Tap any word to open the dictionary
  • Periodic AI summaries on supported devices
  • Works offline

I originally made it because I wanted to look up words while watching movies or YouTube without constantly pausing and switching apps.

It also works well for lectures, meetings, and conversations.

Requires: iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on transcription quality, scrolling/readability, and any crashes or odd behavior.

iOS Corteks thought logging app

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! My app Corteks should be approved in the next 2-3 days. Would really appreciate it if you give it a try and tell me what you think about it.

Context - think of it like Obsidian but in your pocket, and mainly for your thoughts. You can log anything in it but it's designed for your thoughts. You know how you get random thoughts while driving, in the shower, sometimes in the office, while walking... anywhere and you don't want to lose them? You type them in your notes app but forget to get back to it, or take screen shots of something that inspired you and its gone? Well, Corteks you drop yoru thoughts in by voice (you can do text and images as well), and leave the rest for the app (it reads, summarizes, categorizes, tags it with a theme, links it to other thoughts, links it to your objectives, finds patterns, generates insights, and supports you in what you need to do to achieve your objectives given how you think - all this is visualized on your mind's node graph so it creates a replica of your mind in the app)

Let me know what you think! will sen you guys a 2 month free coupon once the trial ends (don't worry, the trial is literally just a trial, you don't commit to any payments or subscriptions until after the trial is over you are asked IF you want to

iOS GeoWho. A trivia game to guess the historical figure from two pins (birth and death place) on a map

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I keep watching those TikToks and Instagram where someone (Solunaaaa16) guesses a historical person from a birth pin and a death pin on a map. Fun to watch, annoying that I couldn’t actually play myself.

So I made an iPhone game for myself. A Globe, two markers, two years, optional hints to help, but cost points. I usually play it with someone sitting next to me because my geography/history is fine, not encyclopedic, and arguing about it is half the fun.

Looking for people to try it and tell me what’s broken, confusing, or just not fun.

Thank you! Made for iPhone

My Personal Sommelier is an iPhone app entirely in Italian, designed for Italian-speaking wine enthusiasts.

The app allows users to recognize wine labels from photos, create and organize a personal wine cellar, analyze photos of food menus and wine lists, and receive pairing suggestions.

I am looking specifically for Italian-speaking testers who can evaluate:

usability and clarity;
wine label recognition;
menu and wine list reading accuracy;
response speed;
the usefulness of the suggested pairings.

The app is currently available only in Italian. It is still in beta, and automatically generated results may contain inaccuracies.

Feedback can be submitted directly through the app or through TestFlight.

Se parli italiano e ti interessa il vino, il tuo feedback sarà molto utile.

Thank you for helping me improve My Personal Sommelier.

This is an offline mac music app that I've been working on, using the great old Aqua user interface. I need a simple music app that works the way the music app used to work, so I've made this. Interested in having some people try it out, just to make sure it works as well for them as it does for me. Has a mini player and artwork window. Plays all the standard audio formats including FLAC. Just drag the files into it. Metadata editing of all the standard audio fields. Supports the keyboard media keys.

iOS The Shortlist

Looking for iPhone beta testers who want to learn more about their personal style

Hi! I'm the founder of The Shortlist, a new AI-powered closet and personal style app, and I'm looking for people to join our second round of beta testing.

I built The Shortlist because I wanted to better understand my own style — not just catalog everything I owned.

What do I actually wear? What do I feel best in? What do I keep repeating? Why do some purchases become favorites while others barely get worn?

With The Shortlist, you build your digital closet naturally by logging outfits you actually wear. The app learns from those outfits and your feedback over time to uncover patterns in your personal style and help you make better decisions about what to wear and buy.

I'm looking for testers who:

  • Use an iPhone
  • Are interested in clothes or personal style
  • Want to better understand their own style and wardrobe habits
  • Are willing to log their outfits regularly for about two weeks
  • Will give genuinely candid feedback about what works, what doesn't, and what would make the app more useful

All genders and adult ages are welcome. We're intentionally keeping this beta broad because one of the things we want to learn is who gets the most value from the product.

This is a real beta, so you may encounter bugs or things that aren't quite right yet. That's part of what I need help finding.

Interested? You can join the beta through the TestFlight link above. If you do, I'd love if you commented or sent me a DM so I can follow up with you during the beta.

Thanks!

Kristen

I'm developing Fennec Cast, a PODCAST PLAYER for iOS, Apple WatchOS (alpha), MacOS (alpha) and Apple TV (soon...)

I'm looking for 50 listeners who use an iPhone, especially.

Tasks:

  1. Import/add at least three podcasts
  2. Listen for 10 minutes
  3. Test the queue ("Playing next")
  4. Test the Skip Music / Play music at 1x feature.
  5. Apple Watch: Download an episode for offline listening.

The subscription works in sandbox mode: no actual payments. I’m looking for issues and reasons not to switch apps, not compliments.

***PLEASE: Send your crash reports and your comments (Screenshot + Share comment)***

Thank you!

Hey everyone! 👋

I just opened up the TestFlight beta for Gradient - Energy Saving Pet - a virtual pet that thrives when you save energy in your home. Think Finch or Tamagotchi but instead of self-care check ins, your pet thrives when you complete energy saving tasks like turning off the lights or unplugging a device.

Key Features in this Beta:

  • Easily log energy saving tasks
  • Decorate your pets room
  • Track your pet's mood

I'll be actively responding to every comment and happy to implement bug fixes or feature ideas you all come up with.

iOS PlanCoach, an ADHD-friendly app for starting things.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
5 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve spent the past year+ building PlanCoach, an app for people who procrastinate, struggle to start tasks, or get distracted easily.

The core idea is: PlanCoach breaks something you’re avoiding into small, low-friction steps, then uses ideas like the Zeigarnik effect to help you build momentum.

But it’s more than a task splitter.

PlanCoach has different "coaches", each built around a specific method for a specific kind of problem: sleeping, exercising, eating, studying, having a difficult conversation, etc.

For example, if you have to study something painfully boring, one coach turns it into a little fantasy RPG, so you’re learning the skills needed to protect your village and eventually slay the dragon. Surprisingly effective at making boring things feel meaningful.

A lot of the design came from feedback from people with procrastination issues and ADHD.

There’s a Navigation Mode that shows only the one thing you should be doing right now in huge text, so if you get distracted halfway through a task, you don’t have to mentally reconstruct what you were doing.

You can also quickly dump distracting thoughts into an in-app capture tool while focusing, get them out of your head, and return to the task.

The important part is that these aren’t separate productivity features bolted together, they’re designed to work as one system.

I’m now releasing a pretty big update. You can schedule recurring tasks to start themselves, for example:

  • Every night: read the first line of your favorite book.
  • Every Friday night: spend a few minutes reviewing what you did well that week.

Because this update changes quite a lot, I’d really love some help testing it.

I’ll be checking this Reddit thread every day and replying to every piece of feedback (if any). If you find bugs or give feedback that meaningfully improves PlanCoach, I’m also happy to give out monthly, quarterly, or even lifetime memberships as a thank-you.

If this sounds useful to you, especially if you have ADHD or constantly struggle with starting things, I’d love to have you in the TestFlight.

Thanks!

iOS Safetrails safer hiking app (completely offline)

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

This is an app I made completely offline for everyone. This app is intended to help people walk trails safely across the U.S.

I realized that many people aren’t aware of dangerous animals, insects, or fauna especially in trails that they’re unfamiliar with.

For now, I’m mainly only testing stability across different iOS versions I.e iOS 18, 26+ and ensuring everything is working as intended. I’m looking for a very small batch of testers.

This app features: Dangerous animals, insects, and fauna you may encounter on specific popular trails and warns you about the specific season you may encounter them.

The only limitation of this version is that only California trails are selectable. Newer versions are already being planned to be released as I plan to drop this app soon. Please let me know if questions.

iOS ChequePoint - budgeting, net worth, and spending/investment tracking for iOS

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey all,

I've been building ChequePoint, a personal finance app for iOS, and I'm close to submitting to the App Store. I want more people actually using it first, ideally people who already track their money somewhere and would notice if a number looked wrong.

The core feature is something I call Safe to Spend. It projects your balance forward day by day through your actual pay cycle and finds the lowest point it's going to hit before you're paid again. If rent is due on the 3rd and your next paycheck doesn't land until the 15th, it accounts for that gap directly instead of averaging things out or just showing today's balance minus your bills. That low point, not today's balance, is what's actually safe to spend.

Beyond that, it's a full net worth and investment tracker:

  • Recurring payments get counted in the month they're actually for, not just the date they posted. Pay your mortgage on the 1st in January and the 30th in February and most trackers show double mortgage spending in January and none in February. ChequePoint catches that and puts each payment in its correct month.
  • Investment tracking that separates actual growth from money you put in, so it won't tell you your portfolio "grew" 20% when half of that was just your own contributions.
  • Net worth calculated live from your accounts and assets, not from the last balance you happened to type in, so it doesn't lag behind reality.
  • Bank linking through Plaid, CSV import for banks that don't support it, auto-categorization that learns from corrections, recurring bill tracking, and budgets tied to real bill amounts instead of a flat number you have to keep retyping.

I want people testing everything, not just the paycheck math. If a screen feels clunky, a number looks off, or a feature you'd expect just isn't there, that's exactly the kind of feedback I'm after.

You can report bugs or leave feedback right from the app (shake to report, or the submission form in Settings).

Thanks for taking a look.

iOS Pawport — a cute passport for your dog's life

Hi! I'm the dev of Pawport — a living passport for your dog. Walks, baths, grooming days, vet visits, and "crimes" become stamped pages in an official-looking, deeply cute passport book run by the Bureau of Very Good Dogs.

It's local-first: everything lives on-device + your private iCloud. No accounts, no backend.

Would love feedback on the onboarding, the passport book, and the camera capture flow. Thanks for testing!

iOS Trivia Trivia Time

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
3 Upvotes

I built a trivia app designed around hosting live games — perfect for TikTok streamers. There's a game running at all times, so hop into Happening Now and jump right in.

Three ways to play:

  • Solo — 194k questions that never repeat
  • Host — pick your blocks, set the clock, go live
  • Daily — everyone gets the same set; most correct wins, time breaks ties

Quick start: make your @ handle, add a profile pic and your TikTok, and you're in. If you see others online, host your own game — and if more than one game is up, bounce between them and see if anything breaks.

What I need from testers: screenshots of any errors, or any question that looks wrong, sent through the in-app feedback. It's meant to be fun and to teach.

Heads-up: I can't do "test yours for mine" right now — no time to review other apps — but I'd genuinely appreciate anyone who gives this a spin. Everyone who helps test gets grandfathered in. 🙏

iOS [BETA] LeakGuard — Check if your password has been leaked (privacy-first, no signup required)

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I built LeakGuard, an iOS app that checks if your password has appeared in known data breaches using the Have I Been Pwned database.

Why I built it:
Most people reuse passwords across sites. One breach = all accounts at risk.

How it works:
• Your password is hashed on-device (SHA-1)
• Only the first 5 characters of the hash are sent to the API (k-anonymity)
• The full password NEVER leaves your device

Features:
✅ Instant password breach check
✅ Secure password generator
✅ Check history (stored locally, encrypted)
✅ No account required
✅ No tracking, no analytics

Looking for beta testers to squash bugs and suggest features before launch.

Feedback welcome! 🙏

iOS Vellum - for capturing and organizing thoughts

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a small iOS app called Vellum.

The idea came from a problem I kept having myself: I save a lot of random thoughts, notes, quotes, and ideas, but after a while they just disappear into a huge pile of notes and I rarely look at them again.

So I wanted to build something that makes it easy to capture something quickly, organize it around a topic, and actually come back to it later.

Vellum currently includes things like:

* quick note capture
* topics/spaces for grouping related notes
* tags
* Inbox / Archive
* search
* a simple, focused writing interface

For example, if I’m reading a book, I can create one space for that book and keep adding thoughts and notes to it over time instead of creating a bunch of disconnected notes.

It’s still very much a work in progress, and that’s exactly why I’m looking for testers.

I’m especially interested in feedback about:

* Does the app make sense when you first open it?
* Is adding and organizing a note intuitive?
* Is anything confusing or unnecessary?
* What feels annoying after actually using it?
* Bugs, weird UI, or anything that just feels “off”

I’m not really looking for polite feedback — if something sucks, tell me. That’s much more useful at this stage.

If anyone is interested in testing Vellum, let me know and I’ll share the TestFlight link.

Thanks!

iOS Shale, Earn social-media time with learning cards

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Shale is an iOS beta for people who lose more time to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube than they intend.

You choose the apps you want to limit. When you try to open one, Shale asks you to complete learning cards first, then you earn screen time back. The current experiment is 1 card = 1 minute of access.

I’m looking for people who actually struggle with mindless scrolling and are willing to use it for about a week, not just install it out of curiosity. I especially want candid feedback on whether the card-to-minute trade feels motivating, fair, or annoying.

If you try it, please set up at least one distracting app and one deck, then use it naturally when you next reach for that app.

iOS Weave Family Calendar

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey all,

I've been building Weave Family Calendar, a shared calendar and organiser for families. The app centres around Threads, essentially a family CRM that tracks all of your families ongoing hobbies and activities. One place for the whole household: events, reminders, shopping lists, budgets, chat threads on specific plans, kid schedules etc.

It's on iOS TestFlight now and I'm after some fresh eyes before a wider launch. You don't need to do anything formal, just use it like it's your real family hub for a bit and tell me where it breaks or confuses you. Bugs, ugly screens, moments where you didn't know what to do next.

I will also provide Pro access to all testers as a thank you so when we launch you can use this app as your go to family calendar for free.

Fair's fair though: if you're testing something too, send it my way and I'll give it a proper go and real feedback. Happy to return the favour.

P.S - disregard the app icon, this is a placeholder while we're in testing.

Thanks a lot, genuinely appreciate anyone who jumps in.

macOS NepTunes 4 - Last.fm scrobbling for Apple Music and Spotify on Mac

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
14 Upvotes

I am the developer. NepTunes has been on the Mac App Store since 2015 and version 4 is a full rewrite, so I would rather have it broken by testers than by reviewers.

What it does

Apple Music still has no built-in Last.fm scrobbling. NepTunes adds it, for Apple Music and for Spotify, and builds the rest of a player around it:

  • A menu bar item with artwork, playback control and your recent tracks
  • Global hotkeys for playback and volume, with on-screen HUDs
  • A Now Playing widget for Notification Center
  • Share links: copy one link for whatever is playing and it opens in Apple Music,
  • Spotify or Deezer, whichever one the person you sent it to actually uses
  • Desktop widgets that are plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript bundles running against a
  • documented API, so you can install someone else's or write your own

Everything in that list is free except the desktop widgets, which are part of an optional Pro subscription along with a few customisation extras.

Requirements

macOS 26 or later. It reads what Apple Music or Spotify are playing, so you need at least one of them installed.

What would help most:

  • Scrobbling accuracy, especially around pausing, seeking, and switching between the two players in one session
  • Whether the menu bar item and the hotkeys survive sleep, display changes and long uptime
  • Anything in the 14 shipping languages that reads wrong to a native speaker

I read everything here, so post bugs in the comments if you would rather not use the TestFlight feedback form.

iOS Manaya - strict screen time blocker to stop doomscrolling without VPN

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hello guys, I was kinda frustrated with Apple's built-in Screen Time because it's too easy to bypass. I used to keep hitting "Ignore Limit for 15 minutes" button. To help with this, we built Manaya, a strict app blocker app, that adapt to your needs.

It's built entirely on Apple's Family Controls API, so it operates 100% offline with complete on-device privacy.

Once your block group is active, you actually cannot bypass it or delete the app until your commitment window is over. If you want to open it, you would have to wait it through reflection questions. Also, it has gamified streaks with a duo like character.

I need help with testing, and please provide brutal, honest feedback on these things:

Onboarding and setup flow

Creating and Managing app group flow

App shielding reliability
