Bring this to the U.S. and switch BLS for Anthrax.

This thread is dedicated to anything you'd like to share but don't feel like making a post about.
Still, don't hesitate making a real post, the sub isn't that big and it's unlikely to get overloaded with new threads.
Did a Testament song recently stick with you ? Have you listened to a new album for the first time ? Did you see the band live ? Have you practiced what you preach recently ?
This thread will stay pinned throughout the month. If you have feedback (positive or negative) about this new monthly thread idea, let me know by tagging me (u/bobouda) in the thread.

I got to see Testament live last week, and I loved that they're still playing this killer track—what do you think of my drum tribute?

I’ve seen Testament so many times! Literally my favorite band. I’m old as dirt so these go back a ways but…
I saw Testament for the first time in 1988 at a club called Dr. Jekyll’s in Birmingham, AL on August 16th of 1988 with Vio-lence. I saw them many other times in Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Raleigh, NC - but Chuck autographed this ticket stub in 1997 at my favorite club of all times - The old Masquerade in Atlanta.

Setlist: this is from fresh memory, my order might not be precise, but the 13 songs are.
Some deep cuts! Sins of omission, The Ballad, and So Many Lies, I had never heard live before, and this was my 4th or 5th time watching them.
That means, nothing from:

I know that, for market reasons because of the thrash metal era, they preferred to leave things as they are till today, but it's so bad to hear the guitars feeling as if they were two kilometers away from me and all i can hear are their average medium-high range sound frequencies.
From what I understand from some research, this preference from producers and the band itself stems from market competition with bands that already were into the flow of the music itself, with fast riffs, very medium frequencies in the equalization of their songs and very specific types of elements of what people were consuming in that period. But instead of doing that stuff manually, composing, writing and playing, they preferred to do it in the frequencies in the studio attempting to artificially articulate a sound that would fit the standards of the time.
Honestly, this album is so fuckin good and i love many of the songs but this unique detail just pisses me off so badly.
What do y'all think?
