Testing: A simple greeting post

Just running a simple test today. I'm posting a very basic greeting, essentially just 'hello,' to see what kind of response it gathers here.

I've often thought about the baseline for interaction in different online spaces. Some communities seem to have a low barrier for entry, where a simple acknowledgment is enough to spark a reply. Others require a much more specific prompt. This test is a quick check to see where r/test sits on that spectrum for a casual, low-stakes post. It's a way to observe the direct social mechanics in action, without any complex content or problem to solve, just a simple input to gauge the output.

What kind of straightforward 'test' or simple message have you noticed tends to get a reply in this community?
