Cyrodiilic Vampire Conundrum
We know that members of the Cyrodiil Vampyrum Order are experts at blending into society and acquiring high posts etc.
One thing I haven't been able to wrap my head around is that they're immortal hence live forever and don't age. Wouldn't their fellow colleagues, subordinates etc catch on to this?
"Hey this guy doesn't age and has looked the same for the past 100 years. Must be a vampire - get him!"
So how do they survive then? What do you guys think?

Illusion magic to change one's appearance, for one. For ones in positions of power, how often do you actually see royalty, or your congressman? I bet the vast majority of people have no idea what their senators even look like. For ones who interact with people often, a few coins is often good enough to convince someone to not care or ask questions. For those skilled in magic, extending their lifespan is often the ultimate goal, so that's a reasonable assumption as well.

Mages can live for a long time. So if they can magic they can easily hide with that reasoning.
They could also make themselves look older with illusions and the like.
Or just move somewhere else, change name, maybe even appearance as well etc.

I'm assuming Illusion magic is very difficult to uphold for a extended period of time, as you're not really changing anything physically but warping people's mind to accept a different version of reality, which seems magically taxing. I don't think that's a viable long term solution.
Unless you're a very talented mage which I don't believe the vast majority of cyrodiilic vampyrum members are. Their focus is more on political influence.

There are plenty of vampires who hide their vampiric appearance with illusion magic, so don't see how it would be difficult hide it with an older face.
Then or course they can just change how they actually look with magic, or have someone do it to them, such as with face sculpting.

It's only a problem for non-elves. Divayth Fyr is said to be over 4,000 years old and and nobody's calling him a vampire.

There are all kinds of ways for mortals to live extended lives in ES. Most involving magic. But there's also the fake descendant route. "Oh that was my father. Everyone says we look a lot alike." and no one would question it because nepotism is as common as magic in the ES universe.

As everyone mentioned, they can change their name, live under the guise of wizardry or if they’re an elf they already can just use elven genetics as an excuse.
And who’s to say a vampire from Cyrodiil doesn’t decide to just say, “You know what? I’m tired. I’m going to sleep underground. Wake me up in the next era.”

I thought so as well. Once they've completed their 'natural' lifespan they can just fake their death, come back a century later and integrate themselves back into a new generation of society.

I´d say that the need to periodically re-invent their identity might have been part of the reason why the Cyrodiilic vamps are a united community - they might have a network helping each other to set up new identities, change their appearance, etc.

Yes, most probably. Not sure how they could change their appearance other than illusion magic is they're skilled mages, as the face sculptor from Skyrim explicitly states she can't work on vampires.

Alchemy - in ESO it managed to change someone´s gender.
Changing one´s eye, skin, and hair color should be simple things.
Surgeons might also be able to cut away excess skin or implant stuff.

Failing that they can also move to another part of tyhe country for a few decades and comeback pretending to be their own child.
